Jim McCallum

James (Jim) was raised in the city of Ft. Lauderdale and from his early days, it was evident that he had an innate passion for fishing.  He honed his angling skills on both drift boats and charter boats. In 1978, Jim moved to Boca Raton. Over the years, he ventured beyond the Florida coast, owning and operating a 57-foot commercial sword and tuna boat. This vessel took him from the shores of New England to the bountiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and even the exotic Caribbean. Jim holds a 100-ton captain’s license, a testament to his knowledge and skills on the water. When it was time to give up his life at sea, Jim began his career with Floribbean and has been a part of the team for over three decades.  
 
On his days off, he and his wife, Shelia, with whom he has shared over 50 years of marriage, enjoy their time with their four sons and eleven grandchildren.  
 
Fun Fact: Jim shares his home with three rescue cats, each with their own unique personality – Thomas, Serena, and Zorro.
